Bestforent Holding is a Vienna technology group that consults, engineers, and builds products of its own – for organisations operating under demanding regulation.

The story

Bestforent Holding was founded in Vienna to give structure to work that had already been going on for years.

Consulting and engineering for organisations operating under demanding regulation, mostly in European rail. What began as consulting became system development, and system development eventually became products of our own.

Today the group operates on three levels. CET4Biz delivers consulting and engineering to clients. BrainTrainAI and MyVipGuest are products we own, develop and take to market. And the holding itself provides the leadership, research direction and commercial structure that lets both sides support each other – what we learn on client programmes goes into the products, and what we build into the products makes us faster on the next programme.

Dr. Seid Maglajlic

Dr. Seid Maglajlic is an experienced IT executive, senior consultant, and project manager with more than 30 years of professional experience in software engineering, digital transformation, and international IT project management. For over two decades, he has specialized in the European railway sector, working with leading organizations including Deutsche Bahn, RailNetEurope, Forum Train Europe, TSGA, and several national railway organizations across Europe.

He has held senior leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer at RailNetEurope, and has led major European initiatives related to railway interoperability, TAF/TAP TSI, international timetabling, capacity management, and digital railway services. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Graz University of Technology and a degree in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Zagreb.

As founder of Bestforent Holding GmbH, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting, project leadership, and extensive experience coordinating international and multicultural teams. His work bridges technology, regulation, and business, with a strong focus on delivering complex, interoperable digital solutions for the European transport sector.
